We would like to assure you that From North is alive and kicking. We are planning all of the same major events as in 2009 and are pleased to annouce the return of some old favourites, such as From North Lounges.
In 2011, membership cards will return and we plan to make membership, not just event participation, more attractive.

Everyone can register and become a FROM NORTH member. With a FROM NORTH e.V. Membership, you support our work so we can promote, organize and perform Scandinavian/Nordic events, cultural happenings and activities to all our members and Scandinavian/Nordic friends.
FROM NORTH e.V. is dedicated to support the Scandinavian/Nordic community in Munich, support Scandinavian/Nordic cluture exchange towards the German and the Bavarian culture. We encourage the promotion and care of communication, the friendly relations and the cultural exchange between the citizens of the Scandinavian/Nordic Countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden).
Our work includes:
- Cultural, social, and sporting events for all ages
- Scandinavian cultural and language exchange
- Business lunches / networking sessions
- 'FROM NORTH LOUNGE' informal meeting once per month
- Special organised events on national celebration days (May 17, Valborg, Midsummer, St. Hans etc)
- Exclusive Christmas ball
- Skiing and other organised sporting events

FROM NORTH e.V. arranges both public and member events. In order to participate in the member's only events, you need to have a valid FROM NORTH e.V. membership. The membership also entitles you to member discounts on our events and happenings.
FROM NORTH e.V. offers a variety of yearly memberships. The available memberships are:
- Student - 15 Euro
- Adult - 20 Euro
- Family - 30 Euro
